Michael Mellen
I work with people of all ages and in a variety of organizational and life roles. I explore the world and find power in story, in listening, and in each of our ability to find a path that has the potential to create an even happier, more successful life and world. I see the universe as space to learn and grow. I like people and challenge and life. Surprising to me, I was ordained a rabbi in 1998 and have, as much as possible, aimed to work with caring, powerful communities. I served as Director of a North American youth organization (NFTY), as a congregational rabbi and educator at Temple B’nai Shalom in Fairfax Station, Virginia, and as a speaker, consultant, trainer and coach with a company I founded, Michael Aaron Mellen, LLC. I have served as consultant, coach and mentor in a number of settings, including summer camps, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR), the Davidson School at The Jewish Theological Seminary, and The Jewish Education Project focused on innovation and organizational change. |
